"Drawing and painting was a daily activity in my home throughout childhood. My art is inspired by local landscapes, flowers, fields and gardens. I enjoy presenting nature with bright, bold colors and textures using acrylic paints and mediums.

When I paint, I feel like I am fulfilling my purpose in life. I love knowing that what I paint will someday be on someone’s wall and will be a statement of warmth and beauty in their home.

While creating, I am reminded of what painting was like as a child–playful, fearless and free. I hope to invoke a feeling of whimsy, playfulness, and joy through my art. Each painting tells a story using color and form, which I try and say through the titles on each piece. Art speaks, and I hope it speaks to you."
